Adell is a lounge chair on a four-legged base in plywood with a reconstituted natural or dyed oak finish, design by Lievore + Altherr Désile Park, 2020.
The shell is available in three different versions:
- polypropylene with distinctive texture made with 80% recycled materials, available in four colours;
- polypropylene with distinctive texture made with 80% recycled materials, available in four colours and featuring cushion attached to the chair in fabric, leather, faux leather or a covering of the client’s choice;
- entirely covered with fabric, leather, faux leather or a covering of the client’s choice.
A seat cushion and a front cushion – both covered with fabric, leather, faux leather or a covering of the client’s choice – are available to be paired with the chairs, which feature exposed plastic shells. The accessories are removable and are available in both indoor and outdoor versions.

With a shell made from 80% recycled polypropylene, the calming form has been designed with sustainability at its foundation, putting both body and mind at ease. Adell has been created with adaptability in mind. Designed for use in spaces of repose, Adell can be customized to suit myriad contexts, from lounge areas to waiting rooms, educational common areas, hospitality spaces or residential settings. To accommodate a variety of contexts, Adell is available in a recycled textured plastic finish only, fully upholstered, in plastic with upholstered seat cushion, or in plastic with a removable cushion or full cover, for indoor and outdoor use. Base options include metal or wooden leg configurations or sled base in metal. These configuration options and timeless design extend the use cases of the Adell, creating an enduring product with a long lifespan to reduce the amount of waste in our environment.
